The Sicilian avocado toast does not need to be cooked: you just have to toast the bread and serve on dish. The rapidity of preparation makes it perfect for a quick lunch or a light dinner, but also as an appetizer in a menu of Mediterranean tastes.
Ingredients vegetarian avocado toast recipe
- Slice of rustic bread, preferably flour of Tumminia or whole-wheat one
- Sicilian ripe avocado
- Almafruit Wild fennel paste
- Stracchino cheese
- Almafruit hazelnut from Nebrodi
- Almafruit Sicilian organic orange blossom honey
- Almafruit organic Extra-virgin Olive Oil from Sicilian olives
Method:
You have to toast the bread and smear an initial layer, not too thin, of wild fennel paste. Pay attention to smear it well and uniformly, it will serve as a basis for the other ingredients.
On it add a second layer of stracchino, on it put slices of avocado.
Garnish with hazelnuts turned into crumble or into rough pieces, add a drizzle of oil and some drops of honey. If you want, you can enrich your dish decorating your avocado toast with edible flowers or berries.
